California Fires

Let us come together to restore hope and offer a helping hand to our neighbors in their time of need. Below is a list of places that have resources to help those affected by the L.A. fires. We will continue to update this page as we gather more information. 

Financial donations can be dropped off at the front desk or you can donate online through our giving page. 

The L.A. Archdiocese has multiple links on their website listing places you can make financial donations or donate food items, clothing, hygiene kits, or other resources. Click the link below to veiw their website.

The Diocese of Fresno local Catholic Charities agency has information to donate financially to the Catholic Charities of Los Angeles. Through their Disaster Relief Fund, your donation will go directly to supporting those in need, providing food, water, toiletries, hotel vouchers, and other vital services to displaced residents. San Gabriel Mission is coming together to help all those families and idividuals that were negatively impacted and displaced by the devastating fires. Below are multiple ways you can help the families of the Eaton fire. 

• Give a gift card. Donations of gift cards will be accepted to fast food eateries, restaurants, Target, Walmart, Costco, grocery stores or gas and will be collected through the Rectory Office (428 S Mission Drive, San Gabirel, CA 91776). Any and all denominations of gift cards will be accepted.
• Donate to Mater Dolorosa Retreat House. Mater Dolorosa Retreat House received significant fire damage to their campus. This beautiful campus has been home to many retreats and is need of support. Visit https://materdolorosa.org/donate/ to donate.
