Sacrament preparation for Reconciliation and Eucharist is a two-year process. Students will need to enroll in our Religious Education program and will begin to receive preparation for the reception of each Sacrament during the end of the first year and throughout the second year. Once students are prepared they will be able to receive their Sacraments.

Students in the second year class prepare to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. Religious Education classes are during our Faith, Family & Friends faith formation program.

First Reconciliation occurs prior to First Communion as part of the Faith Formation Program.

The scheduled date for First Communion is June 7, 2025.

Classes are every Tuesday Night promptly at 6:15PM - 7:15PM.

Please contact Deacon David Gutierrez, C.M.F. at [email protected] for more information.

Older Children needing Sacraments

Students between the ages of 6 and 17 who have not received their Sacraments will need to enroll in their appropriate age grade level. A specialized Sacramental Preparation program is available for adolescents. Parents should contact [email protected] for more information on the process for preparing for the reception of those Sacraments.

Adults needing Sacraments

Adults preparing for their first communion should visit the Newman Center RCIA webpage for more information or contact Charles Arokiasamy at [email protected] for more information.
